The UCL Centre for Medical Image Computing (London, UK) is recruiting one Lecturer, Associate Professor in Quantitative Neuroradiology (UCL Ref: 1879657).

The UCL Department of Computer Science (UCL-CS: www.cs.ucl.ac.uk) & Centre for Medical Image Computing (CMIC: cmic.cs.ucl.ac.uk) have established, in partnership with the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery (NHNN), this strategic Academic-Clinical Scientist Lectureship to facilitate and promote research innovation in neuroimaging analysis technologies with immediate application in clinical neuroradiology.

The appointee will generate an active research programme within CMIC targeted to support translational activity based in clinical Neuroradiology at the NHNN, UCLH NHS Foundation Trust and in collaboration with the Neuroradiological Academic Unit of UCL Queen Square Institute of Neurology.

To support this aim the post-holder will spend 50% of their time embedded within the Neuroradiology Clinical Scientist team located at Queen Square, contributing to the clinical scientific support of the neuroradiology service.

PhD or equivalent research experience. A significant track record of medical image computing, particularly neuroimage analysis, with a clear pathway growing an international reputation and activity. Experience of and passion for collaborative and translational research, clinical applications, and computational systems in hospital environments.
