The Architect is responsible for analyzing anddriving technical aspects of Medical Imaging Analytics (MIA) technology relatedprograms and PoCs. The MIA scope of work would include but not limited tomedical imaging ISV, payers, providers, medical device manufacturers, cloudimaging solution providers, big data and artificial intelligence players. Thearchitect will take the technical / solution lead in solution incubationprograms involving close partnership with interdisciplinary teams of business,user-experience and domain experts. The role also includes collaborating withOEMs, ISVs, Sis, research centers, hospital systems, payer systems, medicalimaging device companies and other external entities such as government atmultiple levels. The architect makes high-level design choices for the hardwareand software structure, frameworks, protocols, algorithms and standards.Deliverables include proof of concepts, solution blueprints, referencearchitectures, prototypes, roadmaps, white papers and other collateral.

Master'sor PhD degree in Computer science and/or Bioinformatics or related.
Deepexperience in medical imaging or HIT industries, or strong experience spanningmultiple spaces.
5+years of software architecture design including a solid foundation of service-orientedarchitectures.
2+years of experience with Distributed Cloud Computing Architecture and data/bigdata analysis
Knowledgeof, and experience with, interdisciplinary teams following user-experiencemethodologies
Solutionsincubation experience
Abilityto identify new technologies, standards, and architectures of importance.
Abilityto define the requirements of future computing systems architectures andconfigurations.
Abilityto communicate complicated issues to senior management in a compelling fashion
Abilityto create collateral and speak in front of customers.
Abilityto create a strategic technical roadmap for a business.
Abilityto work across organizational boundaries to develop technical solutions
Abilityto travel regularly and internationally

Additional Qualifications
2+years' familiarity/ experience in a health IT with knowledge of industrystandards, medical imaging workflows, privacy/security, data sharing, datamanagement/integration or coding / vocabularies.
Experiencedeveloping proof of concepts, reference architectures and other collateral
Experiencein healthcare IT system or PACS system projects in the past 4 years
Experiencewith open source software projects
Knowledgeof deep learning, big data, analytics in healthcare.
Knowledgeof distributed and cloud computing.
4+years working with local healthcare payers, providers and/or vendors
Goodunderstanding of statistical methods as they apply to genomic and genome-widegenetic data
Knowledgeof Next Generation Sequencing, genotyping, gene expressions, or moleculardiagnostics
Datawarehousing and ETL experience
Optimizingsolutions on multicore architecture experience
Knowledgeof big data storage solutions that improve computational workflows.
