Postdoctoral Position on Dental CBCT Segmentation and Modeling

Postdoctoral research associate positions are available in IDEA lab (, UNC-Chapel Hill, NC.

The successful candidate should have a strong background on Electrical or Biomedical Engineering, or Computer Science, preferably with knowledge on learning-based image segmentation. Experience on dental CBCT segmentation/landmark detection or reference model estimation is highly desirable. People with machine learning background on image analysis are particularly encouraged to apply. Strong knowledge on programming (good command of LINUX, C and C++, scripting, and Matlab) and on deep learning tools (Caffe, TensorFlow and Keras) is highly desirable. The research topic will be the development and validation of segmentation/landmark detection methods, reference model estimation, and precise surgical planning for CMF patients.
