Description: The research of this exiting opening will focus on graph-based deep learning methods for the temporal analysis of 3D geometries of the beating heart in the European ERA-CVD project "Mobile electrocardiographic imaging for the prediction of ventricular tachycardia" funded by the German BMBF, fixed-term until 30 September 2023 on a part-time basis (80%, approx. 40-43k€/year before tax/social insurance).
The post is part of Prof. Mattias Heinrich's research group, which is often at the forefront of new methodological developments in the field of medical image analysis and machine learning, and offers the opportunity to further advance the state of the art for improved medical diagnosis, treatment and health care. A very good master's degree, English language skills and good programming skills in pytorch are expected. First experiences in image analysis are desirable.
