Members

Enrollment Information and Forms:

Faculty level scientists, engineers, physicians, surgeons, allied health professionals, students and post-doctoral trainees and industry scientists are all invited to join the Society if their areas of interest include medical-biomedical image computing and/or computer assisted interventions. Fees for students are kept particularly low to encourage their participation in the Society. Students must provide a verifiable certificate or letter from their Head of Department confirming that they have formal student status at the time the subscription is paid. It is projected that membership in the Society will grow to over 1000 members within the first four years of the Society.

Subscriptions are payable annually and run from October through to September of the next year.

The standard Oct 2007 - Sep 2008 Society subscription rate is 80€ for full members (non-students) and 40€ for students.

Society subscribers able to attend the 2007 annual conference

Several discounts are available, making membership exceptional value for money:

  • MICCAI Society members subscribing for 2007/8 are entitled to a 20€ discount in their 2007 conference registration fees: this applies to full registrants and to students.
  • Furthermore, 2007 conference delegates who wish to subscribe to the Society in 2007/8 are entitled to a 50% discount (40€ for non-students, 20€ for students) in their 2007/8 Society subscription. To be eligible for this discount, note that the 2007/8 Society dues must be paid with 2007 conference registration or at the conference itself.
  • MICCAI Society members for 2007/8 are entitled to a 20€ discount in 2007 tutorial registration fees: this applies to full registrants and to students.

The net cost of Society membership could thus range from as little as €20 for a full (non-student) Conference delegate to a net saving of €20 for a student attending the Conference and one tutorial.

2008/9 MICCAI Society members will be entitled to a discount in the 2008 conference registration fees.

Society subscribers not able to attend the 2007 annual conference
